WebPlus X6: Setting pop up roll over position problem
I am updating my site with web plus x6 and I have used pop up roll overs a lot on x5.
Now when I click edit pop up roll over and then try to adjust the position of the images it is way off, basically what I have figured out is that when I adjust the image it appears way lower and to the right of where I put it.
So to get my images in the right spot I have to adjust them high and to the left.
I have to play around with it a lot to get it where it needs to be.
See attached screenshots of a quick example.
Please help if you know how to fix this,

WebPlus X7: Crash X7

Hi,
After an unexpected crash i have lost four houres of work.
In previous versions of wp i get the message X7 is starting up again and also "recover lost work".
X7 dont ask for nothing so i lost all my work.
Anyway, as i go into the hidden mode (win7) and go to users> app> local & temp, i find some old files like ~Web12BD.temp. Is there any way i can save some lost work from one the items in the temp folder?

WebPlus X7: How to Upload Original Images?
On My Photos Page, thumbnail at bottom right, it is linked to a JPG file on disk, but WebPlus insists on uploading it as a huge PNG image and renaming it.
In Site Properties, I have set the maximum size of hyperlinked images to 8000 x 8000 pixels so it should never have any reason to resample them. The linked image is 1080 x 2185 pixels.

WebPlus X7: master pages
Hi
In the past I've rarely used master pages. What confuses me is when I assign a master page to a site page (Dragging and dropping) everything is carried over, including the background, but not the page size. The height always reverts to the default 1000 pix. And when I "promote" part of the design on the site page, that section comes to the front and I can't move it back into its correct position.
Can anybody recommend a good video tutorial that goes into master pages in depth.

Cannot find my error with this form.
When I view the page local all radio buttons toggle correctly.
When the page is published to web, the first two games (top left) do not toggle.

Thought i would check my X7 and it is updating i hope it fixes things. It seems to of fixed text alignment when i open a X6 wpp that's great news.

The official announcement is on the Serif Community site.
To work out if you need this update choose "About WebPlus" in the help menu and if the version number is 15.0.0.24 and you are running an English UK, English US, French or German version then you need this update. Helpfully the software checks for updates the first time it runs, so for those yet to install the software, any update will be found on first use, if needed.
If you are not able to run the software to get the automatically chosen patch, then all recent patches are also available to download manually from the software updates page, which will be updated shortly
Please report any problems updating WebPlus X7 in this thread, or you may report issues on the community announcement article.

WebPlus X7: Animated Marquee "convert to HTML fragment" (15.0.1)
Thank you Patrick for this fix it has fixed all the things you said it would. I would like to however tell you about another bug that causes Webplus X7 to crash (at least on my PC). Hopefully you can re-produce it by doing the following:
1. Insert an Animated Marquee.
2. Right click on it and select "HTML Source" and/or "Convert to HTML Fragment".

WebPlus X7: Everyone Should Have An Aim in Life
My current aim is to get my site fully updated with WPX7 before Christmas. For now, I have uploaded it to my mirror site on webplus.net to iron out any problems there before updating my Aimwell.org Domain Site, which currently uses WPX5.

Feedback to let me know what doesn't work well for you is appreciated. It is not your average site. Many pages are an entire book, in a scrolling frame to avoid problems with positioning the footer, and to make the page height for most pages the same.

Hi, if there is already a thread about this, sorry I can't find it.
I have just installed WPX7 and when I try to insert a smart object, or even edit an already established one, I get a message telling me Serif aren't responding in time.
Is there anywhere I have to go within the software to enable my account. Incidentally, my Serif resources account is operating just fine on the web. I've logged in and it shows my smart objects and I can edit them from the browser.
Really need some help guys. Sorry to be a pest and thanks in advance.

Hi, problem with a form,the form is on the site and works, I receive the email for that confirmation.But the customer get's this page? Can somebody help me? Thank you!

Hello All!
I read the user guide concerning mobile sites and I want to be sure I understand the basic process. Our site is NOT from a webplus template. If I were to make a mobile site I basically would need to make it from scratch, correct?
Does webplus x7 function differently in regards to Mobile Sites?

WebPlus 10: FTP error 500 unknown command
Hi I have just tried to delete a page for my website, deleted no problem, saved it no problem. I have then tried to publish to the web as a full upload, it compares the files etc and makes a start on uploading, the the following message appears FTP error 500 unknown command.

WebPlus X7: Form Wizard
The option to use the form wizard has disappeared from X7. This was a really useful and quick way to amend a form which I do every week in respect of a particular form.
Was this a deliberate omission?
