WebPlus X6: Mal's Cart in Lightbox or I-Frame or Panel?
Is it possible to get Mal's Cart to work in a Lightbox or I-Frame or Panel, rather than opening a new page or navigating from the page?
I hacked a button to open the results in a lightbox using:
I cannot get this to work on an actual form with an item with a changing price drop down, which is what I need.

WebPlus X6: unsafe site - error handling
On this site www.GoogleTop10.biz I am getting an Internal Server 500 Error when a non-valid url is entered - rather than a 404 error.
The problem is that because of this, many security scanning tools show the site as "unsafe".
After extensive discussions with the hosting company, they assure me that it is not anything their end that is causing the problem. And indeed, I do have other sites with them that behave ok (in other words they DO return a 404 error, rather than an Internal Server Error).
Can you please advise? Do I need to setup a page that says Ooooops ... the url you have entered doesn't exist? If so, how do I do this please?

WebPlus X6: WPX6 needed!
Can anyone please help, I have a friend who wants to purchase X6 as a download? I don't think Serif will do this anymore for this version but, as she wants a legit copy, can anyone give me a clue where to obtain this for her?

WebPlus X6: Fluid None Position Footer
I need a fluid sticky footer that is not absolute positional I use a third party vendor MSL Realtor property display service for realtors and residential builders the product uses a Header and Footer Wrapper from the clients website to wrap around the search display results so as to give the impression that the results are integrated into the site when they are actually a sub-domain of the vendors site. Normally I uses tables and have no problem However, this client wants fluid headers and footers headers are not a problem because the absolute position doesnt affect the search results displayed however, the footers are a problem because the results have no set height, the results may display one property or up to a maximum that is optionally set default is 10 and can go up to 100s.

WebPlus X6: Multiple columns in text frames
Almost every website that I've created, and will create, will have some text that needs to have multiple columns. I have several pages on different websites that have multiple columns that I can right click on and adjust the number of columns. I've been trying to figure out to create new text frames with multiple columns, but when I right click on them, there's nothing that lets me do this.
After wasting A LOT of time, I just discovered that this capability was part of what was called "Creative Text Frames", that has been DROPPED as of X6! Worse... from what I've read, this feature/ability will most likely NOT be supported at all in some future version! I'm stunned. This is something that I very often need. I have them, because I've been using WebPlus for such a long time, and the old text frames are already a part of most of my websites.
I think it's a HUGE, very short-sighted mistake to drop the ability to have multiple columns in text frames! Please bring them back, even if they have to be accomplished some other way.

I wanted to place information tabs on a page so a customer can view Description. Benefits, Ingredients and so on.

WebPlus X7: Video Conversion for Use in Flowplayer
t seems that at least one WebPlus user has had some problems getting the Flowplayer in Webplus to accept self-hosted video files. The problem seems to be much to do with large file sizes and, possibly, wrong codecs.
If anyone want's to use the "New" player in webplus, it's best to downsize and convert videos BEFORE adding them to FlowPlayer. For this I thoroughly recommend using the Free Miro Video Converter. Not only does it create downsized videos of good quality at reasonable size, but it also allows for various formats to be created to cope with different browsers and platforms.
To illustrate the point, I've uploaded a short interactive tutorial that also shows 2 final results of substantially downsized videos. The examples in the tutorial isn't using FlowPlayer (it uses the normal HTML5 video tags), but the resulting files import perfectly into FlowPlayer.

WebPlus X7: Mobile Re-direct
Hi all,
I've got Webplus X6 and X7 so if this can be done on either i'd love a response.
I'm in the process of doing a new website www.weddingprojectuk.com and also a mobile version mobile.weddingprojectuk.com. How do I do a re-direct from the desktop site to the mobile one if the visitor is using a mobile/tablet etc?
I've tried via Page Properties > Re-direct and tried several different options including re-directing a the mobile link etc, nothing seems to work. I've tried this via my handset (Blackberry Z10) and several other mobiles, but nothing.
Is there a way that works either in X6 or X7?

I use FormsToGo Lite with my webplus X6. I did look at a video tutorial on how to add reCAPTCHA and did everything right. But when i upload the page and fill in the Form with the reCAPTCHA and Submit it say: "Could not open socket" Any suggestions please

WebPlus X7: A touch of animation to add interest?
My boring old website has a page that just lists the back-numbers of our members' magazine and I thought it might be fun to tart it up a bit.
One idea was to put images of filing cabinets whose drawers would appear to open when you clicked on them, revealing a group of links to the individual files.
I started an illustration in DrawPlus but then couldn't think how best to proceed.
All suggestions welcome, preferably something that looks smart but is easy to do!
There are 60 issues in the form of 4-page PDFs that I will ultimately need to link to, but otherwise any solution would do.
If not, I'll just have to sprinkle with glitter and hope.

Lost the zoom
Hello folks:
I have just been tweeking my site. The tool bar had a very nice drop down box which allowed me to change the size of the page. 50% 75% etc. I seem to have lost it off the tool bar. I would like help in finding it again, if someone could help me, please. I think I will not tweek anymore!

WebPlus X7: Newbie Question...
I'm pretty new to website creation so please bear with me!
I have created a website using the Serif Photography Template (the one Serif shows on their Free Downloads page).
The site was originally created in X5, but I have now upgraded to X7.
The page's title text is stored on the Master page, and has a flipped shaded version underneath to create a relection effect.
When I load the site in WPX7 the flipped text box is always too low down the page and de flipped. I move it to the correct position, flip it and save it, but when I close and reopen the site in WPX7 it is reset to the wrong position and flipped back again!!
When I correct it and render it, it appears in the right place, so it seems that it is just refusing to save correctly. Is this a bug or am I doing (far more likely) something wrong?
