Ok, I'm a little bit confused on how WP6 handles images.
I come from Adobe Page Mill, then GoLive, then XSite Pro so this is not my first site work. In all of those programs, if I used say a background image for multiple pages I only had to upload once and the page harvested it from the images folder. This made loading of a page much faster since it had already downloaded it for the home page. Now, when uploading the site it creates a new image file for everywhere an image is used. Another example of this would be where I used an image to represent a color choice on a product item page. WP6 creates a "copy" of that image times how many pages I used it on. Not good when your site has over 100 pages with a ton of images.
Currently my images are embedded v/s linked. Changing them to linked does not seem to fix the issue either.
Any ideas?
Andrew
