WebPlus X6: Google Analytics classic vs universal

I have gone through old posts to find out why my site is so slow when trying to edit it. I read that Webplus works better with the Google Analytics classic code. But I don't see an option of classic or universal when getting the code. Where do you get that option, and is it still recommended to not use the universal code?

Whenever I try to edit my website I spend more time watching the spinning circle than actually making changes. I finally removed my old Google Analytics code to see if that would help, but now I need help putting the code back in the correct way.

I also have Google ads & search bar, could those be slowing it down too?
