I have a couple of brief questions about assigning text to images to improve accessibility on my webplus website which is currently being translated into Russian.
So, in the translated version of the site I am going into the export options area of each image and entering the ALT text in Cyrillic (a snippet of info relating to the accompanying text on the site). Presumably I then un-tick the 'use default ALT text' box before pressing OK?
Secondly, if my site is bilingual but I want to attract most interest in my site amongst Russian web users, my main domain should be the Russian language version, right, not the English one?
Moreover, when optimizing my site in general - employing Google analytics / Google AdWords etc - I should really be focusing most of my time, energy and attention on the Russian language domain version, not the English one?
Any advice is really appreciated, and I apologise in advance if this topic has already been covered in detail. Thanks!
