WebPlus X6: recreated wpp file

Hi all.
My wpp. file was not saved after the site had been loaded meaning changes & up dates were not possible. The file has now been recreated and ready for launching, page names etc all remain the same, before I take the plunge I wanted to check the following points:

I must 'take down' the existing site and launch the new one, is there anything I should be aware of before going ahead.

Is there anything I'm likely to lose, page rank etc

Lastly, if there's anything else I should be aware of please let me know
