WebPlus X5: Nav bar questions

Hi,

I've attached two samples of navbars. None of the links
in Navbar #1 work, and I'm (pretty) sure nothing is overlapping.

Navbar #2 works perfectly, but I'd like it to
look like Navbar #1: I'd like it to extend the width of the page, and for the active button
to be green rather than black. I wasn't able to change its color through the color scheme designer. Are these simple changes to make?

On the other hand -- if any of you prefer the appearance
of the second example -- I'll keep it. :)
