Couple of queries about z-index
1 Why doesn't this work! - On my master page I have a panel named panel_1 upon which sits a small graphic.
To the side of this panel is another image which has an action 'Panel_1 show on rollover hide on rollout. So far so good. On testing everything works OK.
On all other pages, the panel works but appears behind everything else on the page unless I promote each instance individually and set to 'bring to front'
I was thinking that setting the z-index to a high number would do away with the need for this - but no, it doesn't.
2 Why does the z-index always default to 150? and how do you see what z-index has been attributed to other elements of the page?
3 Do you have to give every object on a page a z-index number for z-index thing to work?
