WebPlus X6: Attach an object to bottom of page

Sorry to raise this one which has been covered in previous posts - but it just does not work for me.

I want to attach an object to the bottom of each of my variable length pages.

I have tried 'Arrange/ Attach to Bottom' to no avail. Nor does 'Arrange/attach to right' work. The object stubbornly remains in the same position on the page both in Design Mode and Preview Mode.

I have also tried the attach on Master pages and Normal pages without success.

Would be grateful for any pointer to help me sort this out. Presumably it does work for other people?
