WebPlus X6: Search Box customisation

Hello, My name is Arron and this is my first ever thread!

I am currently building a site with Webplus x6, I have just integrated a search box and form, but the only thing I don't like is the button itself.

Could someone please explain to me how to change this?

This does explain certain aspects of doing this, but I have tried this method to no avail, possibly the fact that this tutorial is for Webplus x4.

Also is there a way to have some permanent text displayed in the search box until a user clicks on to the box to input information i.e. 'Search this website...'

I hope I have explained my questions well.
