I have a secure Members Area on our website and upload a pdf newsletter into it each month. I have just discovered however that these pdf files are not secure, i.e. if you do a google search on an item that happens to be in one of these newsletter, or just search using our newsletter name, google shows the pdf results and these can then be viewed without going through the secure members pages. How can I securely protect these pdf files so they can only be viewed via the secure members login page? Is it best not to load as pdf files but embed directly in the website so they can only be viewed in a web browser?
