Okay, I have tried this several ways.
First, I created a Remote Picture Link to a file on my server, it displays a small thumbnail of the picture as expected, then to the "RPL" added a hyperlink that will open a larger preview of this save image in a new window.
This works great! I have thousands of these to do this way, (no I do not want a gallery, sorry its more complicated than that)
Then I created a Serif Database with all the necessary links etc. Next I added this Remote Picture Link element on top of my Repeating Area element. I edited the links with the {MM:ImageRemoteLink} and {MM:ImageHyperLink} in place of the filenames for both of the aforementioned areas. Now I merge to the new site. <<< FAIL >>> it does not work as expected.
Second, I tried to copy the html from the Remote Picture Link element and add this to a Repeating HTML Code Fragment. <<< FAIL >>> it does not work either.
However, I'm convinced that this should work somehow.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
